First flight in UK today ! Survived 2 flights in windy conditions. Prop mount trim needed and ESC check needed since there seemed to be some lag between opening the throttle on the Stick and the plane picking up speed. Generally good fun though. Attachments:

Thanks Robin. It's quite a character with its big wheels and tendency to float around. I think I need to check my ESC. It might have been in soft start mode. Also I was surprised that the motor mount is only held on by 2 screws. Attachments:

Yes, there always seems to be a little something that needs sorting after a maiden. The stock motor mount system never gave me a 'warm fuzzy' but some people never have a problem with it! The other weak area (IMO) is the gear (both main and tail) but there are soloutions for those as well!

I've always drilled out the plastic motor mount brackets and "Loctited" in four or six sheet metal screws that have some good thread bite. This keeps the mount good n' tight. If you want the down thrust as prescribed in the manual, use a few small washers on the top two screws between the motor mount and plastic brackets. Hope this helps!
