Chip: You are looking at the balance charger board on your battery, which is used to make sure all 3 cells in battery pack are charged at the same speed and also to the same level. There is a heavy duty 2 wire lead coming out of the battery as well which is used to power the plane, the other 6 pin wire sits idle and is only used for charging. I suggest you Google " What are the different kinds of battery connectors used in RC planes ". Good luck. Papasmurf

Thank u sir. But, the six pin u n question is from the planes motor. The battery is just like u said. Someone told me funclub uses this double 3 pin plug a lot and its best to just cut it off and buy a deans two pin ultraplug which would fit my battery perfect. Any suggestions?...

Chip What kind and where did you get the motor? Most motors have 3 leads coming out and they connect to the outlet of the ESC ( Electronic Speed Control ). The Deans connector is widely used and is excellent. The battery connects to the ESC which controls the throttle and also provides a small 3 wire lead that attaches to the Rx (Receiver). The battery and Rx have Deans connectors, one is male, the Rx and one is female, the battery. Be very careful with this, if you accidentaly cross the battery wires while it connected to the ESC, it will blow and ruin the ESC. Please advise about motor. Papasmurf
