I'm using a Futaba 7c as well and use a reversing y harness from HK controlled from the rotary knob on the transmitter because, like vegasdave, thats where my buddy initially set it up for me! Originally I wanted to move it to the three position switch but now I've grown used to the knob and can roll them up or down as fast or slow as I want. Also, my three position switch is now committed to (the soon to be installed) Eagle Tree Guardian to select between 2D-Off-3D. Several people have said it's just something else to fail (the reversing Y) but to date I haven't had any issues with the unit and would recommend it. I also have the elevator set to give me some down (15%) whenever the flaps are deployed. Robin Robin, I have the same electronics as you but I haven't installed the Guardian because I was struggling with the TX programming. I'd be very grateful if you would share how you've programmed your TX. Many thanks, David

David,
Nothing fancy on my 7c! I have the flaps on a reversing 'Y' and the ailerons on a standard 'Y'. The only mix I have is a little down elevator (10 - 15%) when the flaps come down but if you slow down before deploying them you don't really even need that! The only other thing I played with was the expo to decrease the sensitivity of the sticks.
Best regards,
Robin

Hitec digital servos programmed using the Hitec programmer, sets direction and end points for each servo, allowing y harness to aux channel after each servo is set. I have 30 and 80 degree positions using micro 5055 mg servos.
